For some 50 years, the MKW name has provided a synonym for those attributes, which give a multinational group that certain extra something. Namely, innovation, quality, service, success-orientation, an exemplary human resources policy, open communications, reflection and target expansion.Moreover, in a manner of speaking, during almost five decades of expansion, the key competences of the company have also grown organically. MKW has become an economic force with around 400 employees and a product range that incorporates the areas of synthetics technology, wire production, galvanising, powder coating, wood patterning, galvanising, product development, special purpose items manufacture and tool design.
MKW’s most successful innovations vary from slow close system in the toilet seat and removable function of the toilet seat, fast fixing QUICK, height adjustable and removable accessories for bathroom and toilet to functional technique on furniture fittings as well as wood patterning of aluminium and steel.
As future-oriented company MKW sets a high value to research and development. Therefore, MKW combine internal flexibility and enthusiasm with external expertise.
International co-operation with universities and research institutes is the source of world-class innovations for our clients and covers - in MKW technology corresponding disciplines - the areas of
- in-house supervision of national and international diploma theses and dissertation theses
- international cooperation with universities for application-oriented R&D projects
- consortium partnership for 7th EU Framework Programme and other global funding programs
- partnership in national and international government-funded R&D projects
- international collaboration for application-oriented research projects with industry and trade as well as non-academic research institutions
