Cutting the wire
Wire forming starts with precisely cutting the wire coil to length. Our automatic aligning and cutting plants are capable of precisely, efficiently and quickly cutting wires of all diameters. Here, wires are automatically unwound from their coils and cut to the desired length. Wire length, number of cuts and feed speed can be tuned to the exact end product. Flexible production capacities allow us to deliver on the smallest of batches and mass production series with equal ease. As a result, you profit from high production speed and low costs.
Bending the wire
We use cold forming to give the wire its desired shape. This involves precisely forming wires of different material into complex two- and three-dimensional wire formed components. Our fully-automated CNC wire bending machines are designed to handle all common metallic materials, guaranteeing maximally efficient production of wire forms according to customer specification. Thanks to cutting-edge plant and a high degree of automation, you can enjoy total design flexibility and high production speed.
Welding the wire
Our time-tested welding equipment gives us the ability to create tough, durable wire products from dirt-simple wire rods and wire formed components. We use multiple custom welding production lines with cutting-edge robotics to precisely and efficiently make your specifications reality. Depending on your specific requirements, the following welding methods may be used:
- Resistance welding
- MAG welding
- TIG welding
We're happy to advise you on the best welding method for your wire product.
Finishing the wire
The final step of wire forming is to give the final wire product a finish. This allows us to protect the component from damage (e.g. from corrosion or physical damage) when it is used later on. These three finishing processes in particular have become established in wire forming:
- Powder coating: Gives the wire product a high-quality appearance and high resistance to damage.
- Chrome-plating: Increases corrosion resistance and gives the wire component that beloved chrome appearance.
- Galvanizing: Increases corrosion resistance.
Electropolishing: Creates a clean, uniform surface (used mainly on stainless steel)

Our state-of-the-art wire forming machinery is also available to you for contract manufacturing jobs. We are happy to process wire drawing parts according to your individual specifications.. You'll benefit from flexible production capacities and forming sizes, fast delivery times and maximum reliability.
Our standard wire forming sizes:
- Materials: Steel, stainless steel, Nirosta, or pre-surface-finished wire
- Wire diameters: 2.0 to 9.0 mm
- Wire mesh sizes: up to 3,000 x 1,500 mm
- Straightened wire: up to 4,000 mm
